When was the last time you were in front of the camera with your kids instead of behind it?I'm a mom. I know there are so many times I would rather keep my sunglasses on and hide behind the lens. But what always strikes me are the comments from my daughters when they see a photo of me with them! They see our connection in a different way, it's a visual reminder of my love for them, and it makes time stand still. The photo below was taken during a family reunion on St. George Island many years ago. My daugthers are now grown up - one in graduate school and the other graduating from college next week! The photo represents 3 generations - there are so many stories in this image and so much ...

Now that the holidays are long behind us, like two months ago..., I'm excited to share some of the family portrait sessions from Fall 2020. They are one of those families that make each other laugh and they had such a great chemistry ...
The beautiful former family home pictured below, now part of a school, is featured on this year's Druid Hills Tour of Homes April 13-14. Watch the magic as family members who once lived here work with Springdale Park Elementary School to bring history back to life through photos, stories, and displays. I invite you to visit this former home that is filled with many happy memories for me, my family, and so many friends who enjoyed the home until 1993. Photographs will be on display throughout the house depicting the time my family lived here, including reproductions of original photographs that are over 70 years old! Please join me in exploring the beautiful Druid ...

Last month I attended Imaging USA in Nashville, a convention and trade show for professional photographers from around the world. With over 10,000 photographers in attendance, the convention was packed with energy, education, networking, and fun! I was so lucky to have my family join me for the first time this year as I was presented on stage with the other members of Team USA participating in the 2018 World Photographic Cup. Alex the Photo Guy took this great photo of our team right after the presentation - wearing our new uniform jackets. Ready to take on the world!! Thank you Professional Photographers of America for this great honor!
