Asher Family Portrait Session

Now that the holidays are long behind us, I'm excited to share some of the family portrait sessions from Fall 2020. I had to wait as there were Christmas cards, New Year cards, and even a Valentine card sent from these sessions! The pandemic changed the dynamics of portrait sessions in 2020, but photographing outdoors, on-location, wearing a mask, and by using my longest lens (Canon 70-200mm) I was able to keep socially distant and have fun with some awesome families!I photographed the Asher family a couple of years ago when Will was a senior. This year it's Alex's turn to graduate! The family photos were taken a few months after Alex's senior session which is a great way to make both ...

Asher Family Portrait Session

Jack's senior portrait session was combined with family portraits. Jack's the oldest so they wanted to have special portraits to remember this time of change. I first photographed Jack and his family 5 years ago and it's always amazing how fast these kids grow up!  Jack has an incredible sense of style as you can see in all the outfits he chose for his senior portraits. The colors were perfect with the industrial and urban backdrop. Heading to UGA in the fall!

Asher Family Portrait Session

I've known Annie a long time and it's been fun to watch her grow! The first photo is from a summer swim meet in 2010 (Go Poolsharks!). The second is a photo from a few months ago. She's an amazing young lady and she has a very bright future. She's attending Vanderbilt University in the fall and was selected for the Vanderbilt Cheer Team! Congratulations Annie! Be yourself.Everyone else is already taken.Oscar Wilde

Asher Family Portrait Session

This was a super fun senior portrait session just days before our world began to change dramatically. Before we knew that graduations would be virtual, birthday parties would be thrown at a safe distance, and everything that a high school senior looks forward to in the spring would not take place. Sean's mom and I spoke several times about his senior session and all the elements that would tell his story. So much fun! As you'll see in these photos, Sean is very creative, super talented, and a lot of fun!  Sean is a Gorillaz fan! He created this super costume of 2D. He loves mountain biking and his dad is his coach! He has a 3D printer at home... And today is his ...
