Now that the holidays are long behind us, I'm excited to share some of the family portrait sessions from Fall 2020. I had to wait as there were Christmas cards, New Year cards, and even a Valentine card sent from these sessions!The pandemic changed the dynamics of portrait sessions in 2020, but photographing outdoors, on-location, wearing a mask, and by using my longest lens (Canon 70-200mm), I was able to keep socially distant and have fun with some awesome families!

In March, like everyone else, I was left wondering what to do with my time when businesses had to close their doors and we started to shelter-in-place. As a portrait photographer, I had to shift gears. It's that time of year when the weather starts to cool, the air is crisp, and the colors of fall are revealing themselves every day. I can almost smell the apple cider right now!I love photographing people all year round, but there's something magical about the fall. After a long, hot summer, it's fun to pull out a few sweaters and enjoy the outdoors.Many families love to schedule portraits this time of year for beautiful backdrops as they plan for holiday cards and gifts.
