Borecky Family Portrait Session

Now that the holidays are long behind us, I'm excited to share some of the family portrait sessions from Fall 2020. I had to wait as there were Christmas cards, New Year cards, and even a Valentine card sent from these sessions! The pandemic changed the dynamics of portrait sessions in 2020, but photographing outdoors, on-location, wearing a mask, and by using my longest lens (Canon 70-200mm), I was able to keep socially distant and have fun with some awesome families!

Now that the holidays are long behind us, like two months ago..., I'm excited to share some of the family portrait sessions from Fall 2020. I had to wait as there were Christmas cards, New Year cards, and even a Valentine card sent from these sessions! The pandemic changed the dynamics of portrait sessions in 2020, but photographing outdoors, on-location, wearing a mask, and by using my longest lens (Canon 70-200mm), I was able to keep socially distant and spend time some awesome families! The Edwards family was incredibly fun to work with as we planned a session that was years in the making. They are one of those families that make each other laugh and they had such a great chemistry ...

Borecky Family Portrait Session

In March, like everyone else, I was left wondering what to do with my time when businesses had to close their doors and we started to shelter-in-place. As a portrait photographer, I had to shift gears. It took a few minutes, but I decided to take advantage of this unexpected time and I dove in to several personal projects that were previously on the back burner.  Read on to see what I've been up to! Fine Art Lisa Hill Photography introduced an online Fine Art store this month so I've redesigned my website and logo to reflect this exciting new venture! In addition to my favorite magnolia images, I've been working on a number of new photographic art ...

Borecky Family Portrait Session

It's that time of year when the weather starts to cool, the air is crisp, and the colors of fall are revealing themselves every day. I can almost smell the apple cider right now!I love photographing people all year round, but there's something magical about the fall. After a long, hot summer, it's fun to pull out a few sweaters and enjoy the outdoors. Many families love to schedule portraits this time of year for beautiful backdrops as they plan for holiday cards and gifts. If you're planning on portraits, it's time! All sessions are outdoors with safe distancing. Lisa Hill Photography follows CDC guidelines.

Borecky Family Portrait Session

Jack's senior portrait session was combined with family portraits. Jack's the oldest so they wanted to have special portraits to remember this time of change. I first photographed Jack and his family 5 years ago and it's always amazing how fast these kids grow up!  Jack has an incredible sense of style as you can see in all the outfits he chose for his senior portraits. The colors were perfect with the industrial and urban backdrop. Heading to UGA in the fall!
